Tomas Castillo

Tomas Castillo is the 2022 Chemical Engineering Experience in Research (ChEEr) Youth Intern. Tomas is currently a high school junior attending Archimedean Upper Conservatory in Miami, Florida. Tomas is interested in pursuing a career in the STEM field, chemistry in particular, and wants to learn from new experiences that will be useful in the future. He is working as an intern under the supervision of Victor Sharma on spectrophotometric determination of adsorbed protein on commercial ion exchange resins. In his free time, Tomas enjoys baking, playing tennis, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.
