Prathusha recently graduated and received my bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, India. She is now a first-year graduate student (Master's) at KU in the Chemical Engineering department. Prathusha has a keen interest in pursuing her Ph.D. at KU as well. During her undergraduate, she worked on the production of bioethanol from modified cyanobacteria (experimentally and modeling). At KU, Prathusha will be working on Process Technology and New Products in Corn Oil, under Dr. Alan Allgeier's guidance. In her first semester at KU, she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant under Dr. Prajna Dhar in CPE 211: Material and Energy Balance. Aside from her academic work, Prathusha enjoys reading, writing, and traveling.
