Frank Abbeduto

My name is Frank Abbeduto, I am an incoming senior attending the University of Oklahoma. I am a chemical engineering major with a certificate in Bioprocessing.

I have done some previous undergraduate research before this, but this was a much better introduction into what post-graduate research would look like.

My research was on using a rhodium-containing catalyst to reduce disulfides into thiols. We got to use the new High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph machine during this experiment, and that was pretty awesome! My supervisor is Alan Allgeier, My post-grad mentor is Tom Gonzales.

I am looking forward to my final year of my undergraduate when I return to Norman.
