Brooke A. Lovrien

Brooke Lovrien is currently a senior pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering with an environmental emphasis. In doctor Allgeier’s lab, she worked with Simon Velasquez and Pricilla Flores-Ascencio to research the applications of continuous flow processing in pharmaceuticals with a focus on developing a reliable process for the functionalization of C-H bonds.

As of 2020, she's doing an internship at Hill's/ Colgate plant in Topeka/KS, where she supports a variety of projects within the Quality Engineering Department. On campus, she is involved with the Sigma Kappa sorority as well as Chem Club and the honors program. In her free time, she likes to get involved in outdoor activities, such as kayaking and hiking. She also likes to paint and draw.
