John Styers is studying Chemical Engineering with a biomedical focus and a minor in Physics. He has worked in research on three different projects in two different departments, Physics and Chemical Engineering. In Dr. Allgeier’s research lab, John is working with Kyle Stephens and Brett Ferencz in the design and development of a heterogeneous catalysis reactor for iron catalysts. John plans to pursue a Master in Chemical Engineering and work in industrial research. Outside the lab, John enjoys snowboarding and gaming.
